My Mom has been making this cake since the 80’s. It is super delicious! I sometimes will decorate the cake as a flag using blueberries and strawberries.
1 Angel Food Cake
1 sm. pkg. of Strawberry Jello
1 sm. pkg. of Raspberry Jello
1 lg. container of sliced frozen Strawberries (thawed)
1 lg. container of frozen Whipped Cream (leave in fridge until ready to use)
Break up the cake into pieces and add them to a cake pan. Prepare the 2 jello packages and cool for a little bit. Once jello has cooled a bit, add the strawberries. Pour the jello mixture over the entire cake pieces. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Once the cake is firm, spread the whipped cream over cake. Serve chilled.
