Mexican Pizza

My next door neighbors made this pizza last summer and it was soooo good, that I now make it. Thank you, Neighbor!

Pizza Dough:

3/4 c. Warm Water

1 Envelope of Dry Yeast

2 c. of Flour

1 tsp. Sugar

1/2 tsp. Salt

In a small bowl, stir the yeast into the water and let it sit for 5 mins. Mix the flour, sugar and salt in another bowl. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to form a ball. Kneading the dough for a 1 min. Then add the dough to the large bowl that is brushed with olive oil. Cover with a kitchen towel for at least an hour.


1 lb. Ground Beef

1 Taco seasoning Packet

1 can Re-fried Beans

1 c. Salsa

2 c. Cheddar Cheese

2 c. Chopped Lettuce

1 c. Chopped Tomatoes




Brown the beef with the taco seasonings and drain. Mix the beans and cup of salsa. Stretch your dough on an olive oil brushed pan. Spread the bean mixture all over dough. Spread cheese over beans, then the meat. Bake at 425º  for 12 mins or until the dough is golden. Once the pizza is done, slice, add all of your favorites toppings and serve.
